UBS pays dividend

UBS pays a dividend of CHF 2.20 per share.

Short sold put option Novartis

Looking at the chart of Novartis I think I’d like to own some shares of it, but only if I can buy them a little lower than the current price. Instead of placing a limit buy order at CHF 65, I sell short a put option, strike 65, term December 2007.

This put option gets executed at CHF 2.14 per share.

Bought Holcim

On the Swiss market Virt-x, I place an order for HOLN (Holcim Ltd.) at market.

This order gets executed at CHF 110.20

Holcim is a multinational company based in Switzerland. Its core business is construction materials, particularly cement.

Bought UBS

On the Swiss market Virt-x, I buy UBS at CHF 74.75

UBS being a major Swiss bank, reporting record profits every year, I hope to do well with this stock.
