Bright outlook for Tesla
Why Tesla Stock (Nasdaq: TSLA) Will Double in the Next 12 Months
I believe Tesla Motors Inc. (Nasdaq: TSLA) stock will double within the next 12 months.
Bold? You bet. I know it's not a popular opinion. In fact, I'd go so far as to say that the disdain for TSLA's bull run is only surpassed by the herd's disdain for the overall bull market itself.

For every quarter since at least Q1/2013, any sign of strength by this company has been met with jeers from some pretty powerful detractors.
From the headquarters of GM to the front page of the MIT Technology Review, the chorus has been pretty consistent: Tesla is a hopelessly inflated stock, a flash in the pan and nothing more.
Nonsense...
This company is on track to see a stock explosion that will make its surge back in the spring of 2013 look like a speed bump. I want you to know today that I believe we are on the cusp of a few key developments that will make electric cars in general and Tesla in particular the wave of the future.
Let me explain why....

Taking an interest in Tesla Motors
I figured the chart looks right to get bullish on Tesla Motors (Nasdaq:TSLA) and I have given an order to buy some shares at market at the open today.

FB at NASDAQ
The hype over Facebook (NASDAQ:FB) is over, in fact has been over since 15:00 EDT yesterday. The institutional investors no longer defend the USD 38.00 price level. In pre-market trading this morning, FB opened at USD 38.07 and it has been downhill since then, with the price at USD 36.77 at the moment.

Facebook: bought today
This was an interesting day and in fact not quite over yet, as after-hours trading is still on. The start of trading of for Facebook (NASDAQ:FB) was delayed until 11:30 EDT. At 11:40:53 I placed a buy order with a limit of USD 38.00 and this was executed at 15:52:30. There was a low of USD 38.00 earlier, during two one-minute periods between 11:45 and 11:55, but notifications – and presumably also trades – were delayed by over half an hour..
Facebook trading will start only at 11:00 EDT
I finally found information about the starting time of trading of Facebook (NASDAQ:FB). It is at 11:00 EDT.
Watching Facebook
Facebook shares were sold to institutional investors yesterday at USD 38 and will trade on NASDAQ today, presumably starting at the open at 09:30 EDT, 15:30 my time. I haven't decided yet whether to buy it.

Evaluating Silicom

Silicom (SILC) yesterday closed the gap-up created on 28 January 2008 and the price has been on the rise since the open this morning. This stock could become a candidate to buy at the open tomorrow.

Evaluating Silicom

After I sold Silicom (SILC) on 4 February 2008 the price moved sideways and in the last few days dropped. I plan to keep an eye on it for a possible new purchase.

Evaluating Google
After selling Google (GOOG) on 9 November at USD 673.22 I had difficulties buying it back at a lower price; bought it eventually on 22 November at USD 670.00. After that, I decided not to try and follow every price swing and instead just wait patiently for the price to continue to rise to at least USD 800. On hindsight, this was a mistake.
Looking at GOOG's technical chart today I see the low of USD 480.46 on 16 August 2007 as the resistence and this was not broken with the recent low of USD 488.52 on 5 February.
Intraday yesterday, the pricce broke through the downward trendline but did not close above it, hence no clear indication yet of a reversal.

Sold Silicom
I watched Silicom (SILC) on a 15-minute chart and after 13.30 h EST placed a stop order at USD 16.58. This got executed at 14.02 h partially at USD 16.50 and the remainder at USD 16.56, average USD 16.54. Profit 18.5% in 81 days.Analysing SILC

The price of Silicom (SILC) touched the resistance line on Friday at USD 15.23. If it breaks through it today my limit of USD 15.50 may be too low and therefore I now cancel it.

Buy order for Google
I now regret not having bought Google (GOOG) at the open yesterday. Having read more good things about Google I expect its price to go to USD 800 before long, and I now place an order to buy GOOG tomorrow with a limit of USD 660. I plan to watch it at the open and change the order to market, if necessary.

Analysing Google
I'm not sure how far I can trust the buy signal for Google (GOOG) on the trendline. Stochastic has not yet confirmed it, and with the upcoming Thanksgiving holiday I decide to wait.An alternative I considered was a naked put 620/DEC but I don't want to take this risk.
